Donating to LWC
The Lexington Woman’s Club is a 501c3 tax exempt charitable organization, with a mission of providing new clothing to over 1,400 underserved Fayette County elementary school children annually.
The club also provides a full tuition scholarship to a non-traditional Fayette County female college student each year.
LWC relies upon donations from community friends and businesses. There are several ways you can donation to these worthy causes.
All Children In Need Endowment Fund
The Lexington Woman’s Club established an endowment fund through the Bluegrass Community Foundation in 2019 in hopes of providing long term support for the club’s mission. Donations to the endowment qualify for the Endow Kentucky Tax Credit for individuals as well as corporations. This is in addition to the federal and state tax deduction value of the gift. Gifts of any size are welcome and will help provide for the organization’s future. For more information on donating, please reach out to Charity Reed at charity.reed@edwardjones.com.
Clothe-A-Child
It takes approximately $50 to clothe one child with the new clothing the club provides. In addition, the club also provides gently used clothing to each child.
