College Scholarship

The Lexington Woman’s Club provides scholarship funds through a Kentucky Public University for a non-traditional student. The recipient must be female, over the age of 25, and reside in Fayette County. She must be enrolled full-time for the upcoming semester and be pursuing her first undergraduate degree at the Kentucky Public University.

The basic requirements for the scholarship include evidence of financial need, academic excellence, character, community commitment, and leadership. Scholarships are awarded each Fall and are renewable for the Spring semester, at the committee’s discretion, if the recipient maintains the minimum standards.

Members of the LWC Education and Scholarship Committee review the application packets that meet the minimum qualifications to determine the winner(s) of any scholarship funds.
